Tukwila Rotary ClubWelcome to the Rotary Club of Tukwila, Washington! ---------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- By most standards, we are a small club of only 20 members. Don't let our small size mislead. We are feisty and busy. We always rank very high in District 5030 with the amount of money raised per person and our contribution to our community.
We meet each Thursday morning ah the Tukwila Community Center at 7:15 for breakfast, business and fellowship.
What do we do? Locally, our projects include support of the Tukwila Pantry Food Bank, dictionaries for each third grade student in the Tukwila School District. Nationally, we offer aid to flood, fire and other victims of natural disaster.
International projects include our support to eradicate polio, aid to communities in Africa to provide clean water. One of our member's pet project is helping the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in South Africa.
Fundraising We have two primary fundraising projects. Our spring Bowl-A-Thon is entirely to support the local Tukwila Pantry Food Bank. The other is our annual production with Clay Jenkinson. Historian, scholar, story teller, Clay portrays significant people in American history in a one man show. They are educational, inspirational and fun!
Visit or Join Us! Want to be a part? Want to learn more? PLEASE join us for breakfast and let us introduce ourselves. We are a fun group that truly "walks the talk" of the Rotary motto: "Service Above Self."
